Sorry to hear about the financial difficulties. I'm so totally with you. I hope things turn around quick.

It's funny that you posted about this book, because I've been debating doing a DH re-read. I loved some of the earlier books and want to relive the glory, but I'm afraid they won't hold up. I guess we'll have to see.

Great pictures! The girls make me go "aww." My son was Darth Vader, and while I love my boy, DV isn't that high of a cute factor for me. lol

I read this book a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it! I loved how it was all gothicky and Victorian, and with a touch of paranormal. I have enjoyed most books I have read from this author so far. My only problem her is that you have no idea of what she is working on now, or anything like that because of her lack of website etc.

Oh, this is one of my favorite historicals. I love Anatole and Madeline. I actually love that Anatole isn't some overly gifted man when it comes to the "bedroom". Too often a man with little or no experience seems to be a most splendid lover! But in this one it was realistic, you know, considering he was such a recluse.

I also reread this one when I was still participating in the challenge. I think it was January maybe.

How delightful to come across your blog. I'm very glad you enjoyed the books and hope you will get a chance to read The Earl either now in ebook form or next June when it comes out in print.

I am also currently working on Brand's brother's story. Although not part of the series because he has no connection to the "gypsy", I felt he needed his own nevertheless.
