Lover Revealed by J.R. Ward
I know that everyone has already posted about this, but this is supposed to be my reading journal to help me keep track of what I have read, so bear with me. This is the latest installment of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series (the others are Dark Lover, Lover Eternal and Lover Awakened). This book, like the rest in the series, is great. If you have not read them I highly recommend them. I don't think that this is my favorite in the series, but I still really enjoyed it, it was nice to get his story. I cannot wait for the next one, it is Viscious's story.
Butch O'Neal is a fighter by nature. A hard-living ex-homicide cop, he's the only human ever to be allowed in the inner circle of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. And he wants to go even deeper into the vampire world-to engage in the turf war with the lessers. His heart belongs to a female vampire, Marissa, an aristocratic beauty who's way out of his league. And if he can't have her, then at least he can fight side by side with the Brothers.
But fate curses him with the very thing he wants. When Butch sacrifices himself to save a civilian vampire from the slayers, he falls prey to the darkest force in the war. Left for dead, he's found by a miracle, and the Brotherhood calls on Marissa to bring him back, though even her love may not be enough to save him.

hehe, glad you liked it :D I haven't started it yet, but will soon :D
Hey Kris - I read the book yesterday night... read is a big word, I read only John's parts and whenever other Brothers appeared :P couldn't care less about Butch and Marissa :P the book was okay I guess :P
I am sorry that you did not like it more. I think I was more interested in Butch and V's friendship than in Butch and Marissa's, I guess because we already know that they are going to get together, but we don't know yet how everything else is going to turn out (John, Tohr, and everyone else we have already seen).
