I hope that everyone is doing well. I am around lurking and reading lots just not posting lots, sorry. I have 11 days left. And it is just more comfy to lay on my bed and read than sit and type. These are some of the books that I hope to review soon:

Through the Veil by Shiloh Walker
Doing it Right by MJD
Blue Smoke and Murder by Elizabeth Lowell
The Agency 3: Monkeying Around by Michelle Haskel
Sins of the Past by Samantha Gentry
Nightkeepers, by Jessica Anderson
Real Vampires have Curves by Gerry Bartlett
Sea Swept by Nora Roberts
Walk on the Wild Side by Christine Warren
A Dangerous Man by Janmarie Anello
Third Circle by Amanda Quick
Shadow Magic by Cheyenne McCray

If you are interested in a full review of any of these, let me know otherwise i am just going to do lightning reviews by genre of these.
I ahve also been re-reading a few books Mr. Perfect and Dream Man by Linda Howard, Velvet Leather and Lace anthology by Donna Kauffman, Jill Shalvis and Suzanne Forster and Shadow Crossing by Cathrine Spangler. Apparently those are all ones that I read before I started blogging. They are all great if anyone has not read them.

Dark Needs at Night's Edge (The Immortals After Dark Series, Book 4)Dark Needs at Night's Edge (Immortals After Dark Book 4) by Kresley Cole

A RAVEN-HAIRED TEMPTRESS OF THE DARK...Néomi Laress, a famous ballerina from a past century, became a phantom the night she was murdered. Imbued with otherworldly powers but invisible to the living, she haunts her beloved home, scaring away trespassers -- until she encounters a ruthless immortal even more terrifying than Néomi herself.
A VAMPIRE WARRIOR CONSUMED BY MADNESS...To prevent him from harming others, Conrad Wroth's brothers imprison him in an abandoned manor. But there, a female only he can see seems determined to drive him further into madness. The exquisite creature torments him with desire, leaving his body racked with lust and his soul torn as he finds himself coveting her for his own.
HOW FAR WILL HE GO TO CLAIM HER?Yet even if Conrad can win Néomi, evil still surrounds her. Once he returns to the brutality of his past to protect her, will he succumb to the dark needs seething inside him?

This was different. I liked it. I think I liked some of the other books more, but I liked it.

Neomi is a ghost. She haunts the house that she loved and was murdered in by her lover in the 1920s. Conrad gets captured by his brothers as they try to bring him back from the bloodlust that rules him. If they cannot then they have to kill him. Conrad can see and hear Neomi but he and his brothers think that he is hallucinating.
Neomi is intrigued by him. She is an interesting character. A lot of fun, I enjoyed her. She was very independant for her time period. She lived life to the fullest and did not care what others thought. She was a famous ballet dancer and secretly the daughter of a burlesque dancer. She knew that life was short and was determined to have fun.

Dark Desires After Dusk (The Immortals After Dark, Book 5)
Dark Desires After Dusk (Immortals After Dark Book 5) by Kresley Cole

A seductive beauty he can never have, yet can't resist... Cadeon Woede will stop at nothing to atone for the one wrong that will haunt him forever. But once he secures the key to his redemption, the halfling Holly Ashwin, Cade finds that the woman he thought he could use for his own ends and then forget haunts him as much as his past.

A tormented warrior she should fear, but can't deny...Raised as a human, Holly never knew that some frightening legends are real until she encounters a brutal demon who inexplicably guards her like a treasure. Thrust into a sensual new world of myth and power, with him as her protector, she begins to crave the demon's wicked touch.

Surrender to dark desires...Yet just when he earns Holly's trust, will Cade be forced to betray the only woman who can sate his wildest needs -- and claim his heart?

I thought this one more interesting than the last. It was exciting when these two books came out so closely together. Holly is a mortal that is coming into her heritage. Unknown to her, her mother was a Valkyrie. She is slated to be the next Vessel, which means that her first born child will be very powerful being. The father decides if that child will be good or evil. So everyone is out to either impregnate her or kill her before she gets pregnant.
Cade was an interesting hero. I love that combination of misunderstood or bad guy hero. In other books he is a bad guy and now he is the hero. Those are some of my favorite heroes. He is a demon who lives in his brother's shadow and is trying for the last 900 years to get his brother's crown back. He works as a mercenary to do so. He has found his mate but cannot do anything about it because she is mortal and it is forbidden so he pines and protects her from afar. He was a very fun hero to watch. I enjoyed this book a lot.

You are doing much better with your TBR list than I am with mine. I also suspect that, even after the baby arrives, you'll probably get your reviews done long before I get caught up with mine.

::hangs head in shame::

Ditto what Bev(QB) says.

I'm hoping to read Mr. PERFECT for Shannon's book club thing by July 15. (What Women Read blog). I've never read Linda Howard before.

Of the books you listed, I'm most interested in your thoughts on Shiloh Walker;s TROUGH THE VEIL and Jessica Anderson's NIGHT KEEPERS since they are in my TBR pile. But lightning reviews are fine.

I still have to read these latest two IAD novels. I'll probably do a little back to back lightning review like you did here. I like that. :)

11 more days and counting.... Feel good! :D
