This one was good with the kick-butt heroine that I love. It falls into the catagory of quasiromance. Like Moon Called and Kitty and the Midnight Hour, it has a little romance with alot of romantic potential. I am interested to read the next installment of her adventures and see what she does next.

Dante (Danny) Valentine is a necromance (deals with the dead) and has just been "invited" to meet with the Prince of Darkness himself, Lucifer. Does she go? Who can say "no" to him. Lucifer gives her a job, to find the demon, Santini, kill him and retrive the Egg (what the "Egg" is she has no idea). To help her in her job he gives her the High Demon, Japhrimel, as her familiar. With some unwanted help from stubborn friends (Gabe, Gabe's hubby and Jace) , Danny has to do this or die (trying).
